Brandon Merritt presents at MBLGTACC

Brandon Merritt recently presented a workshop at the Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Asexual College Conference (MBLGTACC) in Kalamazoo, MI. His presentation, "Look Who's Talking: Gender, Sexual, and the Voice", explored the many ways identity is coded in our voices, how ideas of "typical" voices may develop, strategies to achieve an authentic, gender-congruent voice, and the role of trans and non-binary identities in shaping the future of communication technology.
