Acoustical Society of America

Two of the members of the Speech Perception Lab will be presenting at the fall meeting of the Acoustical Society of America, which is being held in San Diego in December. Brandon Merritt will be presenting a poster entitled, Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Naturalness in Speakers of Varying Gender Identities, and Tessa Bent will be giving a talk, “Who”: Perception of talker properties. Tessa is also co-author on a poster with Kayla Walker and Dr. Melissa Baese-Berk: The Role of Semantic Predictability in Adaptation to Nonnative-accented Speech. We’re looking forward to a great meeting!
